McIver Morgan is a full service firm specializing in all areas and facets of high-end interior design. The firm is based in New York City, focusing in Manhattan Interior design, including brownstone renovation, and townhouse renovation. We have an extensive client base in Connecticut as well as throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

 

Established in 1992 by Rod Pleasants and Steve Godwin, the firm prides itself on listening to their clients and getting to know them to fully understand their home renovation contractor desires. This allows McIver Morgan to create an atmosphere that is a reflection of their customer’s personality yet supports comfortable day to day living. Our renovation townhouse projects are outstanding amongst the Manhattan Renovation market.

 

Rod is personally involved in the design decisions for all projects and is dedicated to making each one a source of pride for all involved. Quality and sophistication are the hallmarks of McIver Morgan’s award winning designs. The design team has the capability of providing traditional, modern, and eclectic spaces based on individual tastes and desires.

PROCESS

At McIver Morgan, creativity, organization and attention to detail are the hallmarks of our success. We are focused on every facet of every project. This attention to detail allows us to stay on task and on time avoiding costly and avoidable delays and mistakes.

 

To achieve this goal, we create a scope-of-work document at the onset of each interior design project. This document fully describes, outlines, and illustrates the detail of each protocol, allowing clients and project managers to fully view every aspect as it develops.

 

We research and explore all options in order to achieve the highest quality and best pricing for each product and service we provide and install.

 

A schedule is prepared to achieve a smooth and timely work flow. Our Designers focus on every aspect to ensure the we deliver nothing short of excellence.

 

Knowing the importance of deadlines, we always strive to complete projects on time or ahead of schedule.

SERVICES

McIver Morgan has completed hundreds of high-end renovation projects since its inception in 1992.

Our projects are comprised of interior design Upper East Side, which result in high-end interiors within high-end townhouse, also including our interior design brownstone and interior design townhouse projects which are perceived as excellent.

Together with our partner Godwin Residential Construction, we are able to provide our clients with additional quality add-on services. These include all aspects of renovation and construction services. This partnership allows McIver Morgan to compete on the highest level and achieve unparalleled results. We provide the level of expertise needed to complete the types of projects our discerning clientele demand, yet stay within the cost requirements our clients need.

Our extensive, privately owned 6,000 square-foot millwork, cabinetry and woodworking shop, provides custom millwork and cabinetry to meet our precise specifications.

ROD PLEASANTS

In 1992, Mr. Pleasants and his partner, Steve Godwin, founded McIver Morgan where Rod serves as president. In addition, he is a partner in Godwin Inc., a high-end residential construction and Manhattan interior design firm.

 

The arts have always been Rod’s passion, he has served on the board of directors of the New York Theater Workshop, as well as the Royal Oak Foundation,and the Gunn Memorial Library in Washington, CT. Most recently, Rod joined the Board of the Western Connecticut Health Network, formed in 2010 by the Danbury Hospital and the New Milford Hospital Foundations in Connecticut.

 

Rod personally commits to a level of service consistent with McIver Morgan’s outstanding performance record. He understands the importance of each team member’s role in completing a project with the highest of standards.
